Common questions
Do you repair just one section, or does the whole wall have to go?
We repair single sections all the time. Replacing a whole wall only makes sense when the damage runs behind most of it, and we will tell you honestly which one you are looking at.
Can you match my existing siding?
Usually yes. Vinyl profiles and colors are still made for most houses in the Berkshires. If yours is discontinued, we will show you the closest match before ordering anything.
What if there is rot behind the siding?
We replace it. Covering rot with new siding hides the problem for a season and then it comes back worse. If we find it, we show you the photo and quote the repair.
How long does a siding job take?
It depends entirely on the size and what we find once the wall is open. We give you a timeline with the written quote, before you commit.
Do you work in the winter?
Yes, with limits. Vinyl gets brittle in deep cold and some work is better held for spring. We will tell you if your job is one of those.
Do you serve towns outside Pittsfield?
